Polyamide Profiles, also been called as Polyamide Struts or Polyamide Strips are manufactured from Polyamide 66 Compound reinforced with 25% glass fiber. PA66 and PA6 are the most widely used types of polyamides. Polyamide 66 is widely used in the fields of automotive and transportation, electrical and electronic, textile, packaging, and building industries.
The use of polyamide 66 resins reinforced with 25% glass fiber in the production of polyamide insulation strips makes these components in combination with the aluminum profile, behave similar to the aluminum metal.
